Hey guys,
So it's been 1 week since I've returned home from the most epic yacht week in Croatia and I'm still wishing I was back there. We had the most incredible 7 days at sea and made memories I'll have for a lifetime.
I'm going to dive straight in and give you guys a rough idea of our itinerary which list the cities we visited, tourist attractions we saw and restaurants we ate in so you guys can jot them down and add them to your list. First of all let me say that Croatia is absolutely stunning and I couldn't recommend visiting this country enough. The beautiful quant streets and turquoise waters were my favourite and no photos will ever do these gorgeous places justice.
Myself and 23 other bloggers, photographers and influencers were hosted for the week by the Croatia Tourism Board. All the information you need on Croatia, i.e hotels, sailing, restaurants etc. you can find on the 'Croatia Full of Life' website here. They will be happy to answer any of your questions to help you plan a similar trip of a lifetime! A general price for one big boat is roughly 4-5.000 euro for 7 days. Smaller boats are around 3.000 euro and have 2 cabins. These price can vary depending on your needs eg, with/without skipper, gas and marina space. The tourist board usually work with Bantours, Katarina line and ACI Marinas for boat spaces as they are extremely secure and very professional. In every ACI Marina you have a water supply and electricity charge. This is just a brief idea of prices and requirements but if any questions at all, you can contact the UK & Ireland Croatia representative here.
He is a little glimpse at our itinerary below so you have a good idea of our trip and what we got up-to during our island hopping;
Day1- We all arrived into Split airport and headed to our boats at Marina Kaštela. We departed from Marina Kaštela and arrived to the Island of Brač. We had a tour through the island followed by dinner at Tavern Dalmatino. We slept on the yachts every night at our marina's and the first night was at ACI MILNA.
Day2- The first stop on our boat was to Zlatni, rat beach. I would highly recommend this pit stop as the waters are completely turquoise and tropical! We then sailed towards Stari Grad (Hvar) and had lunch at konoba, Kod Barba Luke. After a gorgeous city tour we enjoyed some dinner at konoba, Kokot in Dol. Our second overnight stay was at ACI MARINA PALMIŽANA
Day3-Our morning kicked off with breakfast at Meneghello before we sailed to the main city of Hvar. Our lunch spot was my favourite of the week at restaurant Gariful. The food and service were absolutely amazing. That evening we sailed back to Palmižana for another overnight at ACI MARINA PALMIŽANA
Day4- A delicious breakfast at Meneghello was had again before sailing towards Komiža. We enjoyed a city tour through Island Ravnik and Green Cave. Dinner that evening was held at Restaurant & Wine bar Hum followed by a few drinks on our yacht and an overnight in marina Komiža.
Day 5- We sailed to Vis, which I was so excited for as this is where the newest Mamma Mia movie was filmed. We enjoyed a gorgeous lunch at restaurant Pojoda followed by a tour through the island and the exploring Mamma Mia locations. I would definitely recommend this guided tour as some of the actors from the movie live on the island and are involved in the tour guide. Dinner that evening was at restaurant Admiral followed by our overnight in marina Vis.
Day6- We sailed to Maslinica (Šolta). After a tour through the island we ate lunch at Martinis Marchi. Dinner that evening was at Šampjer which had an amazing view over the water where we enjoyed at sunset. Our overnight and final evening on the yacht was in marina Maslinica.
Day 7- We disembarked the boat at Split and headed for lunch at restaurant Zrno Soli 'Grain of Salt', which is a Michelin star restaurant in Split with a fantastic view. Afterwards, we checked into the STUNNING hotel Radisson Blu and Spa for our final evening. The pool area is so gorgeous and we were lucky to have a few hours to relax and unwind in the sunshine with some cocktails before dinner. For our last evening we headed into Split city centre for a meal at tavern Varoš.
