Happy Valentine's Day :) Hope everyone is feeling the looooove! Im spending tonight with one of my best girl friends' as myself and John celebrated an early Valentine's over the weekend.
On Friday night we checked into the beautiful Gibson Hotel (which some of you may already know if you follow me on snapchat ('laurenarthurs'). The gibson hotel is home of RTE's First Dates which I am such a sucker for. I absolutely love tuning in on a Thursday night, it's always such a laugh!
To celebrate the hugely successful show, the hotel has created a date night package guaranteed to give you butterflies, whether it's your first, second or fortieth date! Dreamy daters can enjoy a delicious three-course meal, in the chic hemi bar or the stylish coda eatery, with a signature 'Love Potion' cocktail, which I'm actually bringing my friend for tonight they're so delicious, or glass of Prosecco from 38 euro. Catching a movie next door or a concert in the 3 arena? Date and dash with a two-course meal from just 34 euro.
Throughout the weekend myself and John devoured some amazing food from the scrumptious menu. An angus beef burger for me and a steak for John followed by a mouth watering chocolate cube for dessert :) Not to mention the buffet breakfast the next morning. We had to be rolled out of there!
After a few cocktails we headed back to our super comfy suite and watched a movie. It was such a lovely way to kick start the weekend. I felt so relaxed checking out. A midweek overnight date can be booked from 210 Euro, which includes bed and breakfast & dinner for two with cocktails/prosecco. Friday/Saturday from 250 euro which includes bed and breakfast & dinner for two with cocktails/prosecco.
