Hey girls,
I'm writing to you from NYC :) It's 1am here & I'm so all over the place with times now even more as we lost 3 hours coming here from Canada. We arrived in yesterday morning after 2 over night flights. It was long and so exhausting but we're finally HERE :) I love New York and it's been a few years since my last visit so I'm very excited, even if we are baking in the 36 degree heat...crazy!
Today was our first full day and it was jam packed. Firstly my family, John and I headed for a nice breakfast before renting canoe's at Central Park lake for the afternoon. It was so amazing for just 15 dollars, definitly worth the money. Later we headed to the 9/11 memorial which was really heart breaking to read all about but the museum is incredible! To finish off an amazing day we enjoyed some cocktails tonight on the Refinery Hotel roof top, you can check it out here. There are such amazing views at night of the Empire state building & it's still about 28 degrees here, even late at night, so it's lovely to sit outside and take it all in. I'm thinking of doing a food & drinks blog post when I get home including both Vancouver and NYC.
Anyway, I better get some sleep. We have another day of adventure tomorrow!
